I started playing GTA a few days ago and at random intervals, it freezes and the only way to get out of the freeze is to cut the power to my PC. Web21 Aug 2024 · this issue sounds like just the game hitting the hard fps engine limit. that causes those freezes and such since during pause you definitely hit them. only way to fix is to lock the fps under 150-160 fps. bc that is iirc where that hard limit is. 187 FPS is the hardcap of the game.
